The University of Victoria is a major research university located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The university traces its roots to Victoria College, the first post-secondary institution established in British Columbia in 1903, it was then reorganized in 1963 into its present form. The University of Victoria is a non-denominational multi-disciplinary institution.

A place to get genus/species identification from pictures of fruiting bodies! It helps to include good quality pictures of the mushroom in its native environment, the location you found them, photos of both the top and underside. It is also useful to know what the mushroom was growing on - wood, dung or on the ground? Nearby trees are also helpful to know. The more information you provide the more confident our IDs will be!
