On May 4, Shan Buddhists and monks held a citywide Paritta recital in Lashio for protection and to dedicate merit to the deceased after MNDAA's withdrawal. The procession covered key sites, including the airport, with prayers for peace. May the force be with you.

On May 2, Lashio's Mansu Shan Buddhist Monastery's head monk returned after MNDAA left the city. Life is slowly returning back to normal as many residents started coming back to their homes in Lashio.
